Item description : 1 Thaumatophyllum saxicola in a 10cm pot. You receive a plant similar to the pictures. Beware, plants were grown in medium shade, acclimate progressively to the sun.
Habitat and Description : A beautiful species from Bahia state in Brazil where it grows in a rocky environment very exposed to the sun. Adult plants growingg in the sun develop spectacular glaucous blue leaves.
Care : Easy to grow, medium shade to direct light, well draining soil. Water abundantly in summer when it’s hot, keepon the drier side in winter.
Cold hardiness : Tropical, my plants had no problem at 15°C but given their habitat it’s very possible that they tolerate cooler temperatures, though frost should be avoided.
