Amorphophallus josefbogneri

Habitat and Description : A beautiful species from Thailand with very dark velvety leaves. It’s closely allied to A. allenii but can be distinguished by the absence of dots on the leaves (occasionnally a few rare ones) and slightly different inflorescences.

Care : Easy to grow. Keep warm and water well during summer. When autumn comes and the leaf starts to yellow, stop watering completely and when the leaf has died, get the tuber back from the soil and store dry at room temperature until next spring.

Cold hardiness : Tropical
