Dicranopygium sp. Kuna Yala

Item description : 1 plant of Dicranopygium sp. Kuna Yala with leaves starting to divide, in a 5-6cm pot. You receive a plant similar to the ones on pictures. I’m offering the first 10 plants that are ready but they’re part of a bigger batch, so if they’re out of stock don’t worry, I’ll offer more in the future. 

Habitat and Description : A mythic species from the Comarca de Kuna Yala in Panama. It’s found growing as a reophyte (on river banks)under the shade of the tropical rainforest. It’s brownish red, sometimes purple foliage gives it a very peculiar lool! Adult plant are only about 20cm tall so they’re ideal for a terrarium with their mini palm tree-like appearance.

Care : Best kept in terrarium with high humidity.  Well draining soil is highly recommended (like 50/50 potting soil and pumice or pouzzolane). Rainwater recommende as well. Temperature 20-30°C
