Item description : 10 (ten) young  Araucaria angustifolia , 20-30cm tall (without pot) shipped barerooted (otherwise they’re prohibitive to ship) with humid sphagnum to protect their roots. Some plants are branched, some not, you’ll get a varied selection. Ideal for a nursery. Some plants may show minor burns because of the harsh winter (they’re outside year round).

Habitat and Description : From Brasil, close to Araucaria araucana, the most commonly sold cold hardy Araucaria species. Leaflets thinner than araucana

Care : Easy to grow, keep the growing medium humid. Prefers acidic soils but can tolerate a large variety of soils.

Cold hardiness : Given for -12°C for an established plants. The seedlings offered weren’t damaged by the -6.5°C in January 2017
