Habitat and Description : Another new hybrid that holds lots of hopes. It’s the result of crossing a female Cycas revoluta with pollen from Cycas multipinnata. The hybrid should be a vigorous grower and seedlings already show divided leaflets like multipinnata. The latter produces leaves that are more than 4meters long so we can reasonnably expect 2-2,5m leaves for this hybrid, with a very tropical fern-like look!
Care : EEasy to grow, needs space, water and fertilizer to thrive. Hybrids are fast growing only if they’re givent the proper environment.
Cold hardiness : Probably zone 9b or colder, to be tested.
