Item description : 1 well rooted seedling in a 1,4 liters pot with 1-2 leaves. You receive a plant similar to the pictured ones. The last pictures show a more advanced plant cultivated by Filippo Farina in Italy.
Habitat and Description : A hybrid between the most cold hardy Cycas, the mother is revoluta with leaves hardy down to -8°C and panzhihuaensis with leaves that can withstand -10/-12°C. The morphological features of this hybrid are perfectly intermediate between the two species: leaves are much less plumose than panzhihuaensis but they’re straight while they’re strongly arched on revoluta.
Care :Very easy to grow and very fast growth as long as a lot of water, fertilizer and root space are provided.
Cold hardiness : Unknown but it’s reasonable to expect at least revoluta hardiness, probably lower, meaning at least -7°C for the leaves.
