Dioon mejiae 9-10cm, rooted sucker

Item description : 1 rooted sucker plant with a 9-10cm caudex. The plant for sale is the pictured one. The sucker was removed and rooted last year so it can be repoted this summer but can also perfectly wait another year if watered enough when it’s hot.

 and Description : Beautiful species from Honduras with older specimen reaching 12 meters in height. Seeds are milled into floor and consumed by local people.

Care : Very easy to grow as long as it’s given heat, water in summer and good fertilizer.

Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b but foliar damage may occur at higher temperatures.
