Dioon stevensonii seedling

Item description : 1 plant of Dioon stevensonii with 2 leaves  and a 3cm caudexin a 1,4 liters pot. You receive a plant similar to the one on pictures.

Habitat and Description : Very slow growing Mexican species and still very rare in cultivation. New leaves are brown and become green when they harden.

Care : Slow growing, likes heat and well draining soil. Tolerates limestone very well.

Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b; my plants handled -4°C in a tunnel greenhouse in dryish conditions.
