Erythrina acanthocarpa 50-60cm

Habitat and Description : Beautiful Erythrina from South Africa with red and yellow flowers and glaucous leaves. This species grows the size of a bush making it idea for pot cultivation in regions where it cannot be grown in the open ground.

Care : Easy to grow, like heat. Draining soil preferred, watch for excess of water during winter as this species comes from seasonally dry area.

Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b (-3/-4°C) but damages may appear at higher temperatures.
