Habitat and Description : This plant belongs to the Commelinaceae family and comes from primary forests of the Amazon, where it can be found growing on the ground, often in fairly dark conditions. The upper side of the leaf is metallic bluish and the underside is purple.
Care : Fairly easu to grow, in the shade indoors or in a greenhouse.
Cold hardiness : Tropical
