Zamia integrifolia “Cedar Key”

Item description :1 seedling with 2 leaves in  1,4 liters pot. You receive a plant similar to the ones on pictures. The last pictures show plants in habitat on Cedar Key, West Florida.

Habitat and description : A very interesting locale of Zamia integrifolia that is peculiar in having leaflets that are twisted, giving it a very special aspect (see pics of the mature plants). This feature remains in cultivation but is only seen on already advanced specimens. Being from West Florida, it’s Zamia integrifolia var. integrifolia

Cultivation : Easy to grow species and relatively fast growing for a cycad, likes heat and draining growing medium.

Cold Hardiness :  Given for zone 8b, the most cold hardy Zamia (as long as the caudex is burried)
