Aloidendron (syn. Aloe) Hercules hybrid 40cm

Item description : 1 beautiful plant of the Aloe “Hercules” hybrid, about 40cm without pot, in a 10L pot. Very compact plants grown in full sun. The plant for sale is the plant on pictures, you can see some damage on the old leaves due to last winter’s cold spell. The last pictures show an 8 years old Hercules in cultivation in the south of Spain (with permission of the owner).

Habitat and Description : A mythical hybrid obtained from the cross of Aloidendron dichotomum and Aloidendron barberae. The resulting plant is fast growing and very robust. All the “Hercules” are clones from an original plant, whether by cuttings or from in vitro as is the case for the plants on offer.

Care : Likes well draining soils but enough water in summer, to cultivate like the other arborescent Aloe.

Cold hardiness : Zone 9b, foliar damage appear at -4°C
