Habitat and Description : From Brasil, close to Araucaria araucana, the most commonly sold cold hardy Araucaria species. Leaflets thinner than araucana

Care : Easy to grow, keep the growing medium humid. Prefers acidic soils but can tolerate a large variety of soils.

Cold hardiness : Given for -12°C for an established plants. The seedlings offered weren’t damaged by the -7°C in February 2018
