Description:Cyathea cooperi, fully acclimated. Trunk size 20-30cm The plant for sale is the plant on pictures. I’m 1,70m for reference purpose.

This plant is part of a batch that I am selling for a collector who has to sell his collection. All the plants were cultivated in a frost free greenhouse in “natural ” conditions, they’re acclimated to relatively low humidity as the greenhouse didn’t have a climate control system (no misting, just hand watering)

Habitat and Description: A species from Queensland that is relatively common in cultivation as it’s quite fast growing.

Cultivation: Easy to grow in humus-rich soil. Avoid watering with calcareous water and prefer rain water if available.

Cold hardiness: My experience with tree ferns being limited, I can’t say for sure how cold hardy it is but some internet sources speak about -2°C for a very short time.
