Habitat and Description : This species is quite rare in cultivation, it comes from the Island of Hainan , facing China. It forms a group of species with similar species such asCycas taiwaniana, Cycas hainanensis, Cycas lingshuiensis and Cycas shanyaensis . C. changjiangensis is a small sized plants sometimes cultivated as bonsai in China.

Care : Easy to grow under a variety of climates, will enjoy shade or sun (except in places where the sun is very intense). Keep in a well draining medium and provide heat and water in summer.

Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b but damages may occur at higher temperatures.
