Item description : Cycas “debaoensis “seedling in a 1.4 liters pot. Seeds were sold as debaoensis but it’s impossible to know if the plants are pure at this stage. You receive a plant similar to the pictured ones.
Habitat and Description : This plant is a Chinese endemic with huge leaves that are very feathery, a must have for all Cycas collectors. The last pictures show a leaf of an adult plant. The plant offered here come from seeds sold as debaoensis but it’s not possible to be sure that they’re actually pure debaoensis and not multifrondis, only time and cultivation will tell.
Care : Easy to grow, likes heat and humidity, thrives best in half shade.
Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b. Maybe possible in zone 9a but risky
