Habitat and Description : Beautiful species with large glossy green leaves. Thanks to its buoyant seeds, it colonized numerous coastal habitats throughout SE Asia. It’s in danger of extinction in various places because of tourism and other human activities that tend to destroy its habitat. Very lush and tropical look.
Care : Very easy to grow and fast growing species as long as it’s given heat, water in summer, slow release fertilizer and protected from the cold.
Cold hardiness : Not hardy, should be kept inside in winter or planted in zones 10 and above
