Habitat and Description : Big species belonging to the rumphii group of the genus Cycas. It makes buoyant seeds that allows it to colonize coastal environments from Burma to Malaysia. This species has very glossy leaves making it an attractive plant.
Care : Very easy to grow and fast growing species as long as it’s given heat, water in summer, slow release fertilizer and protected from the cold.
Cold hardiness : Not hardy, should be kept inside in winter or planted in zones 10 and above
