Item description : 1 Cycas glauca seedling in a 1.4L pot. You receive a plant similar to the pictured ones.
Habitat and Description : A fantastic species from Timor, at the south of Indonesia. It’s very rare in cultivation and to my knowledge it’s been offered for the first time very recently. As its name states, the new leaves are glaucous blue giving a beautiful overal aspect to the new crown of leaves! This species becomes quite large, like most rumphii complex species. With times, the leaves lose the wax that makes them blue and they become dark glossy green.
Care : Easy to grow, half shade to full sun.. To be grown in a well draining soil mix with plenty of heat and water in summer.
Cold hardiness : Completely unknown but probably not very hardy considering the tropical origin of the species. To be kept frost free.
