Cycas panzhihuaensis x hainanensis hybride

Habitat and Description : Very rare hybrid , result of the cross between Cycas panzhihuaensis, the most cold hardy Cycas, and Cycas hainanensis, a large species (leaves up to 2.5m) from subtropical Asia. This hybrid should be fast growing in the right conditions, and very likely to show some cold hardiness.

Care : Fast growing if the cultivation conditions are good. Keep in a well draining medium and provide heat and water in summer.

Cold hardiness : Probably zone 9B and under, virtually no data as it’s a very recent hybrid.
