Cycas laotica

Item description : One (1) well rooted seedling with one leaf in a 1,4 liters pot and a 2cm caudex. You receive a plant similar to the one on pictures.

Habitat and Description : A very recently described species from Laos where it grows in karstic mountains with razor sharp rocks. The leaves are covered by a kind of bluish wax giving them a very nice bluish aspect when they’re young. With time, the rain washes that was away and the leaves become green. The plants develop a thick globose caudex to anchor themselves into the rock cracks. One of the most beautiful species of the area;

Care : Slow growth. Very well draining soil and a lot of sun are mandatory. It needs a lot of heat to have decent growth. Watch for overwatering in winter.
