Item description : One well established Cycas revoluta x multifrondis with a 5-6cm caudex in a 7L pot. You receive a plant similar to the plants on pictures. These plants don’t have divided leaflets yet but should have some when they flush new leaves. The last picture shows a more advanced plant growing in the ground in the South of Franc.
Habitat and Description : Hybrid obtained from the pollination of a female Cycas revoluta with pollen of Cycas multifrondis. It has very divided leaflets making it look like a type of fern. Ideal for an exotic garden with moderate freezes.
Care : Fast growing hybrid, can be grown in full sun or shade. Likes well draining soil but needs a lot of water in summer, especially if grown in full sun.
Cold hardiness : Hardy to zone 9a, probably 8b. More trials need to be made to determiner this hybrid’s limits.
