Cycas taitungensis x debaoensis (TRUE debao!) hybrid

Item description :One seedling of Cycas taitungensis x debaoensis (true debaoensis pollen used!!) in 1,4 liters pot. You receive a plant similar to the pictured ones. Only a few available this year!

Habitat and Description : Hybrid obtained from the pollination of a female Cycas taitungensis with pollen of Cycas debaoensis. This hybrid has probably never been made and is going to be a monster, by combining the huge size of Cycas debaoensis and the robustness of Cycas taitungensis. Fast growth to be expected.

Care : Fast growing hybrid, can be grown in full sun or shade. Likes well draining soil but needs a lot of water in summer, especially if grown in full sun.

Cold hardiness : Hardy to zone 9a, probably 8b. More trials need to be made to determine this hybrid’s limits.
