Cycas tropophylla 7cm

Item description : 1 Cycas tropophylla with a 7cm caudex. The plant burst the pot open with its roots (see pictures) and has been repoted, it really needed it, the leaves are a bit deformed because it craved more space but it’s in full health. The other pictures show adult plants in cultivation and in habitat.

Habitat and Description : Very sought after species from Vietnam, only found on cliffs above the sea. It’s a beautiful species with a compact and robust appearance. Ideal for pot cultivation.

Care : Easy to grow under a variety of climates, will enjoy shade or sun (except in places where the sun is very intense). Keep in a well draining medium and provide heat and water in summer.

Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b but damages may occur at higher temperatures.
