Dioon stevensonii 3cm

Item description : 1 plant of Dioon stevensonii with a 3cm caudex in a 6 liters pot. Very rare. It’s said that growth becomes faster at this size (the plant is 3-4 years old). You receive a plant similar to the one on pictures.

Habitat and Description : Very slow growing Mexican species and still very rare in cultivation. New leaves are brown and become green when they harden.

Care : Slow growing, likes heat and well draining soil. Tolerates limestone very well.

Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b but not much is known of its cultivation.
