Habitat and Description : A rare and elegant species from East Africa. Some authors thought it was allied to the other umbrella shaped Dracaena from the area (ombet, serrulata etc.) but genetic studies show it’s not the case. The new leaves are bluish.
Care : Easy to grow if given heat and humidity. These plants grow in a greenhouse, they need to be acclimated slowly to the sun if planted outside. Hot and dry conditions make the plants bluer on subadult and adult plant.
Cold hardiness : Given for zone 10a but better to keep frost free
