Erythrina calcicola

Habitat and Description : This Erythrina was discovered fairly recently in limestone mountains of North Thailand. It’s found growing in rock crevasses where it can grow into a small 5-6 meters tall tree. There is little knowledge about its cultivtion, but apparently it can be kept at a reasonable size in a pot and will develop a nice, short, stout trunk

Care : Easy to grow, like heat. Draining soil is necessary, just like in habitat.

Cold hardiness : Unknown but probably purely tropical.
