Habitat and Description : The Socotra Dragon Tree is one of the most beautiful and sought after Dracaena. It’s found on the high plateaus of the island of Socotra, off the Yemen coasts, where it is endemic. Extremely slow growth.
Care : Easy to grow if given heat and water in summer. These plants grow in a greenhouse, they need to be acclimated slowly to the sun if planted outside. Hot and dry conditions make the plants bluer on subadult and adult plants, young plants are green.
Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b but better to keep frost free
