Habitat and Description : This plant belongs to the Commelinaceae family and comes from primary forests of the Amazon, where it can be found growing on the ground, often in fairly dark conditions. The motherplant was purchased as G. rhizanthus but it seems to differ from online pictures and herbarium specimens for G. rhizanthus sensu stricto.
Care : Fairly easy to grow, high humidity needed, ideal for terrarium
