Habitat and Description : The plants are dormant in summer and in August/September they flower and the leaves appear afterward to last the whole winter. A nice south african bulb.

Care : Water little when plants are in dormancy, when they wake up at the end of summer resume watering progressively. Well draining growing medium.

Cold hardiness : Zone 9b but better kept frost free to avoid leaf damage
