Zamia standleyi 5cm

Item description : 1 plant with a 5cm diameter subterranean caudex. The caudex is not visible as it’s burried, it has the shape of a big carrot and is more than 10cm in length. The plant for sale is the pictured one.

Habitat and Description  : A cute little Zamia from Honduras, leaves are wether brown or green when emerging. It is found in forests and sometimes in pastures when the trees have been cut down.

Care : Easy to grow. Likes heat and well draining growing medium.

Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9B thanks to its subterranean caudex.
