Habitat and Description : Synonym of Zamia picta, it’s the only naturally variegated cycad. It is found in humid forests of Belize. The plant grows a subterranean caudex and in the right conditions leaves can reach 3 meters in height.
Care : Easy to grow under a variety of climates, will enjoy shade or sun (except in places where the sun is very intense). Keep in a well draining medium and provide heat and water in summer.
Cold hardiness : To be kept frost free, can survive very light frosts ( Zone 10a)
