Item description : 1 Zamia vazquezii seedling in a 1,4 liters pot.You receive a plant similar to the pictured one.
Habitat and Description :Species from Mexico. Common in cultivation and very appreciated for its tropical look. It’s often mistaken for Cyrtomium ferns especially when it grows into a large bush. One of the advantage of this Zamia is that even though it looks like a fern, it tolerates much drier conditions.
Care : Easy to grow if given heat and humidity. Do not let the young plant dehydrate as they’re very sensitive to the lack of water. Adult plants are more tolerant as long as they are grown in a well draining medium.
Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b and even colder under canopy. This species seems surprisingly hardy with plants growing outdoors under canopy in South France
