Item Description: 1 flowering size Aponogeton lakhonensis sent barerooted. You receive plants similar to the pictured ones.
Habitat and Description: Very rare species from Laos, almost unknown in cultivation. It’s easily told apart from the other species of the region by its yellow inflorescences, very atypical. Submerged leaves are long and undulating, in sunny conditions the plant develops floating leaves similar to other Aponogeton species.
Cultivation: Plant in nutrient-rich clay soil with plenty of sun and warmth to ensure healthy growth. Water temperature 22-30°C. When cold weather arrives, you can either let the plant go dormant and collect the bulbs, or move it indoors and maintain water temperatures of at least 20°C to preserve it until the following spring.
Hardiness: Tropical.
