Habitat and Description : Another new hybrid with a great potential! Here we associate Cycas revoluta that is cold hardy down to -7°C with compact leaves and resistance to wet winters, with Cycas hainanensis that reaches huge dimensions and cold hardy to -3°C. So we can reasonably hope for a very fast growing plants, robust in size and quite cold hardy!
Care : Fast growing hybrid, can be grown in full sun or shade. Likes well draining soil but needs a lot of water in summer, especially if grown in full sun.
Cold hardiness : Hardy to zone 8b maybe even colder. More trials need to be made to determine this hybrid’s limits.
