Habitat and Description : This species is very rare in cultivation. It comes from Vietnam and China and is one of the smallest in the genus. It’s close to Cycas sexseminifera and grows in a similar habitat (limestone formations). Cycas sexseminifera has glaucous leaves while ferruginea’s are highly glossy.
Care :This plant isn’t particularly difficult to grow but it’s extremely slow. It likes heat and very well draining soils.
