Cycas micholitzii (Vietnam)

Habitat and Description : The real Cycas micholitzii from Vietnam seems to be rare in cultivation, as the Chinese form is more frequent, though it might even be another species and not micholitzii at all. Small size species, easy to grow. When cultivated in the shade the leaflets are quite wide and slightly glaucous. 

Care : Easy to grow, will prefer dappled shade. To be grown in a well draining soil mix with plenty of heat and water in summer. Neutral soil pH prefered, if calcareous, organic matter and iron can be added for better growth. 

Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b but damages may occur at higher temperatures.
