Item description :One seedling of Cycas sp. Vietnam in a 1,4 liters pot. You receive a plant similar to the pictured ones.
Habitat and Description : Rare in cultivation. It’s very similar to Cycas sexseminifera but has differentt vegetative and reproductive features. Science hasn’t decided yet if it should be granted its own species status but recent unpublished genetic studies seem to say they’re different. The parents of the seeds were grown from seeds collected in nature by Ken Hill when he was studying the genus Cycas in Vietnam; Choice specimen for a collector.
Care : Quite slow growing but easy, likes heat and water in summer (but dryish in winter). Regular fertilization recommended
Cold hardiness : Probably not very hardy, Zone 9b minimum
