Item description :One seedling of Cycas panzhihuaensis x multifrondis in a 7 liters pot, caudex approx 5cm. The plant for sale is the plant on pictures and has lots of divided leaflets already.
Habitat and Description : Hybrid obtained from the pollination of a female Cycas panzhihuaensis with pollen of Cycas multifrondis. Mature plants have most of their leaflets divided. This hybrid should be quite cold hardy thanks to panzhihuaensis genes since this species tolerates -10/-12°C with no issue.
Care : Fast growing hybrid, can be grown in full sun or shade. Likes well draining soil but needs a lot of water in summer, especially if grown in full sun.
Cold hardiness : Hardy to zone 9a, probably 8b. More trials need to be made to determine this hybrid’s limits.
