Cycas thouarsii 10cm

Item description : 1 plant with a 10cm caudex in a 10 liters pot. The plant for sale is the plant on pictures. I has small caudex defects so it’s sold at a reduced price.

Habitat and Description : The only african species in the genus Cycas. It is found in Madagascar and on the coasts of Mozambique. Young leaves are glaucous and it’s a fast grower.

Care : Very easy to grow and fast growing species as long as it’s given heat, water in summer, slow release fertilizer and protected from the cold.

Cold hardiness : Not hardy, should be kept inside in winter or planted in zones 10 and above
