Habitat and Description : Cuban species from unknown provenance. Maybe allied to one of the coastal species like sp. Varadero. Easy to grow. Only one plant available. 

Care : Easy to grow, likes heat, humidity, good sun exposure and excellent drainage. It prefers subtropical to tropical conditions. Ideal for calcareous soils. 

Cold hardiness : Probably zone 9b like all the Carribean Zamia
