Habitat and Description :Chinese species with finely divided leaflets, very similar to Cycas debaoensis It’s quite likely to be the result of an ancient hybridization between C. debaoensis and C. segmentifida which would explain why the leaf forms are so variable. With 3m long leaves, this species species is spectacular and more affordable than the real debaoensis.

Care : Easy to grow. Prefers acidic soil and water, it’s highly recommended to add iron frequently for the leaves to remain green. Better grown in the shade in South Europe. 

Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b. The plants for sale tolerated -5°C in dry conditions.
