Dioon mejiae

Item description : 1 seedling of Dioon mejiae in a 1,4 liter pot. You receive a plant similar to the plants on pictures.

Habitat and description: Beautifuls species from Honduras with older specimens reaching 12 meters in height. Seeds are traditionally consumed by local people, it’s milled into some kind of flour and used to prepare dishes.

Care : Very easy to grow as long as it’s given heat, water in summer and good fertilizer.

Cold hardiness: Zone 9B. My plants start to have burnt leaves at -4°C in dry conditions under shelter.
