Habitat and Description :A botanica curiosity from South America, Nymphaea prolifera belongs to the Hydrocallis group, the south american night blooming waterlilies. But this species is peculiar in the way that it almost never flowers: the floer buds turn into plantlet that allows vegetative propagation!
Care : Easy to grow, adapted to aquarium cultivation but can also be grown outdoors in summer. Temperature 25-30°C, indiferent to soil and water quality.
