Item Description for Sale:
2 bulbs of Aponogeton robinsonii (note that you will receive 2 bulbs, even if the photo shows only one). You will receive bulbs similar to those shown in the photos. If you prefer a sprouted bulb (and if available), please indicate this in the notes/comments section of your order. I inspect all bulbs before shipping and guarantee the delivery of healthy and viable bulbs.
Bulb Storage:
The bulbs are shipped in slightly damp sphagnum moss. You can keep them as is at room temperature (15-20°C). Even if they begin to sprout a little, it’s not an issue—they can remain this way for several weeks. Alternatively, you can place them in an aquarium immediately, which should stimulate their growth quickly if the water is warm enough.
Habitat and Description:
A charming, small Aponogeton native to southern Laos, this species features predominantly floating leaves. It thrives in relatively sunny conditions and may undergo dormancy in its natural habitat during the dry season. Easy to grow, its compact size makes it well-suited for aquariums.
Cultivation:
Plant in nutrient-rich clay soil with plenty of sun and warmth to ensure healthy growth. When cold weather arrives, you can either let the plant go dormant and collect the bulbs, or move it indoors and maintain water temperatures of at least 20°C to preserve it until the following spring.
Hardiness:
Tropical.
