Item description : Beautiful plant with a 4,5cm caudex in a 10 liters pot. The plant for sale is the plant on pictures and is already 6-7 years old.
Habitat and Description : Species from an arid canyon of Colombia. Leaves are arched and not spiny, the cone resemble those of Encephalartos. Slow growing but tolerates drought well.
Cultivation : Very slow growth but quite easy to maintain, likes heat and full sun and abundant water when it’s hot. Needs very well draining growing medium.
Cold hardiness : Given for zone 9b (-3°C/-4°C). Watch for root rot.
